As with all community foundations, the Pomona Community Foundation is a public charity that raises funds and makes grants to support local issues and causes, with one central goal: to continue improving the quality of life for its community’s residents.
Giving Back: What does it mean to you?
There are many ways to enjoy the rewards of being a community philanthropist. The Pomona Community Foundation can simplify the process and provide you with all the access and tools you require to give to local causes.
“Giving back” can be everything from helping a neighbor, to setting up a scholarship fund for kids with passion, to bequeathing your estate to a community need. However you define it, a contribution to Pomona’s grant-making efforts through the Foundation will make a lasting and fulfilling difference.
We are also looking for volunteers to help directly with Pomona Community Foundation in a variety of capacities. To inquire further, please feel free to contact us!
What can be donated?
You may donate a variety of assets to establish or add to a Pomona Community Foundation fund:

Open a new fund:
If your vision involves the establishment of a new fund to meet your specific wishes, the Pomona Community Foundation will create a customized fund that is either Unrestricted or Donor-Advised. Please email or call us for more information.
Planned giving:
Including the Pomona Community Foundation in your future philanthropic giving plan benefits Pomona by supporting those organizations or causes that hold special meaning for you. Email or call us for more information.
